Payments Policy

Accepted payment methods
MyPisaHome accepts online payments by major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment partner. Available card networks and currencies are displayed at checkout.
All prices are quoted in the currency shown during booking, typically euros (EUR). Your bank or card issuer may apply conversion fees if you pay in another currency.
Payment at booking
To confirm a reservation, the full booking amount shown at checkout is charged at the time of booking via Stripe.
Your confirmation email includes a complete breakdown of stay, cleaning fee, city tax, and total paid.
Secure processing with Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS standards. MyPisaHome does not store complete card numbers on our systems.
By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the card and that billing information is accurate. Stripe may use fraud detection tools that temporarily authorise or verify your card before completing a charge.
Tourist tax and additional charges
The municipal tourist tax (imposta di soggiorno) applicable in Pisa may be collected separately before or during your stay, depending on local rules and the property booked. This charge is usually payable in cash or by card on arrival unless already included in your confirmation.
Optional services such as airport transfers, extra cleaning, late check-out, or cot hire may be added before or during your stay subject to availability and will be clearly priced before you agree.
Security deposit and damages
Some properties require a refundable security deposit or a pre-authorisation on your card to cover possible damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or violations of the House Rules.
After check-out, the property is inspected within a reasonable period. If no issues are found, any hold or deposit is released according to your bank's processing times. If costs apply, we will provide an itemised explanation and charge only the amount supported by documented evidence, within applicable legal limits.
Refunds and chargebacks
Refunds approved under our Cancellation Policy or in cases of cancellation by MyPisaHome are returned via the original payment method through Stripe where possible.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact info@mypisahome.com or call +393349350060 before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving payment disputes fairly and promptly.
Invoices and billing enquiries
A payment receipt is sent by email after successful transaction. If you require a formal invoice with specific billing details, request it at the time of booking or before check-in so we can prepare documentation in accordance with Italian requirements.
